1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ArcheAge Classic, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the service.

  • By participating in AAClassic, whether through gameplay, the official forum, or Discord server, you agree to abide by the rules outlined in this Terms of Service document.
  • The AAClassic Team reserves the right to make changes to the game or its rules at any time to ensure the best possible experience. While the community will always be involved in discussions, final decisions rest with the team.
  • The AAClassic Team has the authority to issue punishments to any user for violating these rules, at their sole discretion.
  • Harassment and doxxing are strictly prohibited in any form.
  • Constructive criticism of the server or its team is encouraged. Help us learn and grow!
  • Impersonation of any AAClassic Team member will result in permanent account deletion.
  • The AAClassic Team will never ask for your personal information beyond your account name, Discord username, and character name. Requests for your password are scams—report them immediately.
  • All user-uploaded content (images, videos, music, etc.) must be respectful and safe for work (SFW). Pornography, hentai, or explicit material is not allowed.
  • The rules listed here may be updated at any time. All changes will be communicated through official channels.
  • Advertising other servers or games in any AAClassic communication channels is prohibited.

2. In-Game Rules

  • Players are allowed only one account for gameplay purposes, including all activities such as labor spending, item use, or vehicle deployment. Alternate accounts are strictly prohibited.
  • Accounts must not be shared. Each account should have one sole user: its creator. In exceptional circumstances, such as the unavailability of a guild leader, users may contact moderators for guidance. Violations of this rule will result in a permanent ban on all associated accounts.
  • Harassment via in-game methods (e.g., renaming pets or planting seeds offensively) is not permitted.
  • Competitive banter is permitted in appropriate contexts (e.g., during world boss fights in public chat), but must not cross into harassment or personal attacks.
  • Exploiting bugs, using cheats, or employing external tools to gain unfair advantages is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate and permanent account deletion.
  • Tractor blocking in peace zones is prohibited.
  • Scamming other players is allowed if done legitimately (e.g., through in-game trade systems). Scams involving exploits or cheating are not allowed.
  • All names (character, pet, guild, etc.) must follow a respectful naming policy. Names deemed inappropriate will be forcefully changed.
  • All custom content (e.g., custom images on sails) must adhere to the safe-for-work (SFW) standard.
  • Spamming chat will result in escalating mutes, up to a permanent mute. Event-related spam will be evaluated case-by-case.
  • Family and guild chats are self-moderated. However, if harassment extends beyond these channels, action will be taken.
  • Real Money Trading (RMT) of any kind (gold, items, accounts) is prohibited and will lead to permanent bans.
  • Win trading or intentionally throwing matches in arenas is forbidden.

3. Discord Rules

  • Discord's Terms of Service apply on the AAClassic Discord server. Violations will result in a ban.
  • Discussions should remain focused on AAClassic. Real-world politics or unrelated topics are prohibited.
  • The server's primary language is English. If non-English language support is required, additional channels may be added in the future.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. The AAClassic Team cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the service following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
