June Newsletter

Hello everyone! A ton of things are happening soon and we wished to post a small newsletter as I'm sure everyone would love to hear about what's coming soon to ArcheAge Classic!

Bidding Farewell to Retail ArcheAge

As you all probably know, KakaoGames will be shutting down Retail ArcheAge NA/EU on the 27th of June.

While private servers are still around, the end of "official" ArcheAge is still a moment some of us may feel sad about. It feels like the end of an era, it's the end of a game everyone here loved, met friends and foes on, and made great memories on. On behalf of the Daru team, I thank all the publishers who've brought ArcheAge to our regions, through your rights and your wrongs, you allowed us to experience the best MMO there ever was.

We will do our best to carry on the legacy of ArcheAge as we believe it should have evolved, and we welcome all players who join us here once Retail goes on a forever-maintenance.

Progress towards Patch 1.3.0

Patch 1.3.0 is progressing well! For those who do not know, Patch 1.3.0 is the ArcheAge Classic's spin on what patch 3.5 was on retail. In our spin of this patch, we've let the community vote and thus features such as the Cargo System, Erenor Gear and Eternal Grade will not be enabled. Most players feel this is where ArcheAge started to go wrong, and we plan on fixing those wrongs.

We'll post a lot more about 1.3.0 in the coming weeks as we will first enter a Public Test Server phase, with the patch up so players can experience it again and help us find bugs & gameplay imbalances. Once this PTS phase ends, we'll gear up towards a proper release of the patch!

July Event Schedule

Because we're nearing the end of June, we wanted to give you a sneak peek at the event schedule for July since it's pretty packed!

Event Weekend - 6/27 to 7/1

Here's what you'll be able to find next weekend, as a form of farewell to Retail ArcheAge and a welcome to everyone who may move over:

• The Divine Blessings event will be extended by a week
• Experience is doubled over its usual rate
• ⚔️ Honor and 🍀 Vocation are both doubled over their usual rate
• 💰 Coinpurse and Crate drops are doubled in quantity
• 🛡️ Guild Experience and Prestige is doubled (from quests only)
• 👨‍👩‍👧 Family Experience is doubled

Rum Runner Rapids - 7/3 to 7/17

The very dearly loved Rum Runner Rapids event will make a return in July! For the first half of July, you'll be able to find all the event related activities and rewards in Rookborne Basin. Time to barrel down the river!

ArcheAge Classic One Year Anniversary - Phase 1 - 7/21 to 8/4

A custom event is planned to celebrate the one year anniversary of our beloved server. The first phase will focus around helping the Darus prepare the anniversary, with a daily quest during these 2 weeks and some increased activity rewards. Once this phase ends, the celebration will begin on the 4th of August!
