Patch 1.3.5 Preview — Starfall: Landing

The ArcheAge Classic team is excited to introduce the beginning of the Starfall update series.

Launching Friday, April 11, this is the first of four patches that will carry players through the Starfall saga. Here's a look at what’s coming in Patch 1.3.5, Starfall: Landing.

Note: This preview does not cover the entire patch. One major feature is still under wraps, and several smaller changes will also be included at launch.

🌠 A Comet Passes Over Erenor

Beginning with this update, a mysterious celestial body will pass over Erenor—bringing chaos and opportunity in equal measure.

Starfalls will occur across the world, triggering PvE encounters wherever they strike. Once the meteors cool, they become valuable harvesting sites where players can gather rare materials and Comet Fragments. Lucky adventurers may even discover a powerful new weapon: the Comet Shard Staff.

A new NPC, Iseren, arrives to help unravel the comet's mysteries. She’ll first appear during the inaugural cometfall on Saturday, April 12, and later set up a permanent base where players can accept quests and craft exclusive new items.

🛡️ Gear Updates

Patch 1.3.5 brings highly anticipated changes to gear progression:

  • Obsidian Transmuters are here! These items allow players to reroll Tier 7 and Tier 6 Obsidian equipment into another item of the same category—at a cost.
  • Ayanad Gear sees quality-of-life improvements:
    • Acid Gobbets and Armor Scraps are now tradable, making it easier to work toward Erenor Lunafrosts.
    • Several Lunafrost effects have also been buffed to better support diverse builds and roles.

🌊 Ocean Adjustments

The seas see some minor, but meaningful, changes:

  • Leviathan's Friday spawn has been moved to Saturday, allowing players to stack it with the Abyssal Attack for a valuable buff.
  • A new weekly Activity Token quest has been added for the Delphinad Ghost Ship. Simply complete the “Defeat the Delphinad Ghost Ship” quest to earn progress.
  • Morpheus the Forsaken now comes with a 4-hour timer. If not defeated in time, he will retreat for 8 hours and reward nearby pirates for the interference.

🔭 What’s Next?

Starfall: Landing is only the beginning.

The comet’s story will unfold over three more content updates, introducing new quests, systems, and encounters—all leading to a grand finale you won't want to miss.

Next up:

  • Starfall: Discovery
  • Starfall: Expedition

Stay tuned—and get ready for an unforgettable journey through the stars.

See you in Erenor soon!
