As a certain phoenix burns to ash (and this time doesn’t seem poised to rise again) we’re honoring its memory with a slate of changes aimed squarely at improving new-player progression.

Here’s what’s coming:

Adventurer’s Guide

A brand-new Adventurer’s Guide menu will appear in-game, accessible from the action set in the bottom-right of your screen.

The guide is split into two main sections:

Adventurer’s Task List

A structured list of objectives ranging from Grand to Mythic (with tasks up to Heroic available at launch). These tasks are designed to gently guide new players as they step into the vast world of Erenor.

Each task grade rewards an item box to help players push their adventure forward and gain momentum early on.

Guides

A curated list of guides written by both the team and the community, helping players better understand how the game works. Think of it as a compact, in-game wiki.

Note: This list is not final and will continue to grow. At launch it focuses primarily on in-game events, but future additions will cover systems like Stats Migration, major boss mechanics, and more.

🔥 Phoenix Ashes

A new currency enters the world: Phoenix Ashes. This will run for 2 weeks!

How to earn them

  • Divine Clock: Earn 3 Ashes per day, at a rate of 1 per hour played.
  • Greater Howling Abyss (GHA) – New Quest
    Kill Musperosa with a Mentor/Mentee pairing.
    This quest requires an Ancestral 7 player to bring along a lower-level player into the dungeon. Use this as an opportunity to:
    • Make new friends
    • Learn (or teach) dungeon mechanics
    • Find potential guildmates
    • Gear up newcomers with useful dungeon drops

    While loot distribution remains up to the group, we kindly ask veterans to extend a helping hand—letting newer players take armor pieces can make a huge difference early on.

What Phoenix Ashes can be used for

  • Enhanced Flamefeather Glider
    A powerful glider inspired by a certain mythical bird.
  • Mount: Phoenix Phish
    This fish… swims.
  • Divine Aria’s Weapon Autograph
    • Instantly obtain a Divine Mistsong T1 weapon, or try your luck regrading it into Epic or Legendary.
  • Celestial Aria’s Armor Autograph
    • Build a Celestial Mistsong armor set as you farm Divines and beyond in dungeon runs.
      Pro tip: If you drop a Divine GHA piece, you can regrade your Celestial Mistsong one 😉
  • Bound Regrade Materials
    • To ease regrade costs, bound scrolls will also be available through the Guide and via Ashes.

Swirling Meadow – Expansion

The Swirling Meadow new-player housing area will be expanded to accommodate even more players. Landrush timing: To be decided -> Will be in patchnotes tomorrow.

Our goal is to help new players secure their first foothold and get up to speed for the long journey ahead.

Further Catchup

  • Guild EXP daily cap increased, making it easier for large and active guilds to level.
  • Auroran Synthesis Materials (used for cloaks) now grant more experience per shard/stone.

🛡 Large Guild Welcome Boost

With several larger guilds joining and spending early guild EXP on lower levels, we’re offering a small boost:

  • Guild leaders of Level 1–3 guilds with 50+ members may submit a ticket to receive an instant boost to Level 4.
