Public Test Server for 1.3 and Release

Hello everyone, As mentioned in this week's maintenance post, we've been working on towards the upcoming patch 1.3 and we'd like to share the current status of this major patch and what you can expect in the coming weeks.

What is 1.3 ?

Patch 1.3 is what players know as "Erenor Eternal" or "3.5", but with our own custom changes addressing the concerns that players have had with it. It will not include Cargo packs, Eternal grade, and Erenor is still being discussed internally / prompting player opinion before it is included. What you can expect is Ancestral Skills, Whalesong Harbor and Aegis Island, various Quality of Life updates, and much more!

When is 1.3 ?

The question on everyone's mind: WHEN?!

Here's our current schedule for Public PTS and Live release:

• Wednesday, September 18: Public Test opens. For 1 week, players will be welcome to test out the new patch, make sure everything works. We'll ask players test out the game with their current gear. Everything needs checking! Old and new!
• Sunday, September 22: We will be enabling several vendors for everyone to have fun with whacky and creative builds.
• Wednesday, September 25: Live release of Patch 1.3 - Should there be no major issues during PTS. Of course, this is exciting: It means 1.3 is potentially one and a half week away.

How do I join ?

Once the PTS goes up, a launcher update will be published, allowing players to convert their clients into a PTS client at the click of a button. This will cause a patch to download, and once installed, you're in!

Note: You will be unable to convert your game client back to 3.0. It is strongly recommended to back up your game client if you wish to continue playing Live.

Beyond 1.3

We are very excited to take ArcheAge Classic to the next step in its life. We believe 3.5 was a very fun patch with a lot more class variety and balance, and it opens up new opportunities for us to expand on the game.

Of course we're not stopping there, you'll be seeing custom updates continue to make their way on Classic! One of those early 1.3 updates we have planned will add Dawnsdrop Tools, which will give some long term progression goals to vocation-oriented players.
